Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to digital products purchased from Decoding Biosphere, including the Environmental Science MCQ PDF book and any related downloadable study material.

1. Nature of the Product

Our Environmental Science MCQ book is a digital PDF product. No physical book is shipped unless clearly mentioned separately on the product page.

2. Refund Window

Refund requests may be submitted within 3 days of purchase. Refund requests received after 3 days may not be accepted, except where required by law or in exceptional cases at our discretion.

3. Eligible Refund Cases

A refund may be considered in the following cases:

  • Duplicate payment for the same product
  • Payment deducted but product not delivered
  • Wrong product delivered
  • Download link not working and the issue is not resolved after contacting support
  • File is corrupted or inaccessible and a replacement file cannot be provided
  • Product description significantly differs from the delivered product

4. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will generally not be issued in the following cases:

  • The PDF has been successfully delivered or downloaded
  • The buyer changed their mind after purchase
  • The buyer purchased the product by mistake but the file was already delivered
  • The buyer expected a printed book, although the product page clearly mentioned PDF/digital format
  • The buyer provided an incorrect email address and did not contact us within the refund window
  • The buyer is unable to open the PDF due to device-specific software issues, where a valid file has already been provided

5. Cancellation Policy

Since this is a digital product, orders cannot usually be cancelled once payment is successful and the download link or file access has been delivered.

If you made a payment but have not yet received the product, you may contact us immediately for cancellation or refund assistance.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us within 3 days of purchase with the following details:

  • Your full name
  • Email address used during payment
  • Order ID or payment ID
  • Date of payment
  • Reason for refund request
  • Screenshot of payment confirmation, if available

7. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method where possible. After the refund is initiated, the time taken for the amount to reflect in your account may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card network or UPI provider.

8. Replacement Before Refund

For technical issues such as a broken download link, missing file or corrupted file, we may first provide a replacement download link or corrected file. A refund will be considered if the issue cannot be resolved.
